Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
And i am not a fan of the board myself but they have to stand by the rules dont they?
If it does go ahead, its just a fucking money grab, a dirty fight and the outcome is suddenly massively irrelevant

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
CS - whats the point in drug testing if someone who has adverse results is allowed to fight anyway. Ive been told that I should bow down to your expert boxing knowledge by many on here with no spine so I assume you have interests in boxing. As an Essex boy myself and connections to Benn Snr and Sims family, I should by rights be supporting the fight going ahead but nah mate, if u come up wrong on a test then as far as im concerned there is no smoke without fire and it should be called off. If this goes ahead, zero respect to Hearn promoting a dirty fight and surely if you are involved in boxing, you must agree with that? OR do we just ignore tests now of certain drugs? IF it was ok to take Chlomid then it wouldnt be on the list would it

Its the Board of Control, they are a shower of shit.

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
Hearn is is alwasy dead against drug takers except his own fighters says its with his legal team. I used to like him but he is nowadays a massive cunt

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
i doubt the board of control would put out that statement if it was possible to still be going ahead? Hope i am wrong but it wouldnt make sense for them to jump the gun and prohibit it and then back track surely

My pal whose working the show seems to think, once the B sample comes back, it will be fine and on.

A statement read: 'On the evening of 4 Oct 2022, the Board of the British Boxing Board of Control Limited resolved that the contest between Chris Eubank Jnr. and Conor Benn scheduled to take place on 8 Oct is prohibited as it is not in the interests of Boxing.'

so the Board of control have changed their mind again have they? Cos they have said it was off despite HEarn and Saueulrland saying it goes on.

Interesting that since Hearns interests moved to US, things have begun to fall apart over here. He is proof that we all have our time in the sun but its hard to sustain. This isnt his fault but yet another let down in some way or another from matchroom.

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
Surprised Connor has tested positive for Clomid.

It’s an anti eostrogen that can promote an increase in FSH and LH - ultimately it can cause your bollocks to increase the the amount of testosterone being produced.

Be interesting what his test levels were in his bloods. Can’t see small doesage of clomid having a major effect on performance, not worth the risk of taking it.

It’s used more in a PCT for enhanced athletes coming off cycle.

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
They won’t squeeze a trilogy out of this so I guess they have agreed the draw and the second fight will be the true contest. Benn probably to win and Eubank to retire.

Cash in the bank!

Conor Benn FAILS a drugs test, plunging Saturday night's huge O2 Arena fight with Chris Eubank Jnr into doubt, after he tested positive for a banned women's infertility drug

I guess if he gets knocked out he can still get knocked up!

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
I want Connor to win but I think Eubank wins.

Highly motivated by the death of his brother, much bigger man, more experienced- all this 60% thing is bullshit. He’s training full tilt for this.

I see Bob Arum has stuck the boot in on Eddie Hearn blaming him for the Fury - AJ fight never happening.

I can believe a lot of what he's said,

Re: Eubank Jr vs Benn
Unless the BBBC ban him by Saturday, which will be virtually impossible, the fight will go ahead. It's a non-title fight so the result means fuck all anyway..
